With Henk's cabinet, the heating pipes are nicely concealed. He started working with black MDF, which is beautiful and explains step by step how he did this. In a few simple steps you can create a beautiful cupboard that will benefit you greatly. You hide the less attractive places or in this case pipes and it offers you extra storage space!

On the kitchen cabinet by Henk

To conceal the white heating pipes in the room, we came up with the idea of building a cabinet around it from black MDF.

How I made this project

To start, before I ordered the shelves from TOSIZE.dk, I made a drawing of the cabinet on paper. First fit the bottom of the cabinet with legs. The two side walls were attached to the wall with blocks and an intermediate plate was attached at a distance to conceal the white heating pipes. The top and shelves are attached with slats. The 4 doors have hinge holes. The cupboard, dividing wall, shelves and doors were painted twice. Fit the doors with hinges and adjust the doors until it was to my liking. The doors have small buttons to open them. Just press against the door and the hinges will close automatically.

Dimensions of my DIY project
